I currently teach in the Theater Department of Temple University where I am an Associate Adjunct Professor. Classes I teach include History of the Theater, as well as both introductory and advanced dramatic analysis and writing . In the past, I have taught Theater History and Dramatic Literature at several Philadelphia area institutions, including the Ira Brind School of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell. I have also taught acting classes at the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia, the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, and the University of Minnesota BA program.
I also offer private acting lessons and dialect coaching, and have worked with many actors and acting students with monologues and scenes for auditions.
Typically, I teach at my home. But I could also come to an agreed-upon rehearsal space, if that would make the student more comfortable.
My typical rate is $80 per hour, or $40 for a half hour.
The initial lesson is half price! If you'd like to work together again after that, the normal rate applies.
Juvenile students must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian.
